Radially sawn Shiplap provides a stylish and strong alternative to traditional softwood or manufactured cladding systems. Shiplap cladding is profiled from back sawn bevelled edge boards that overlap to produce a continuous vertical or horizontal cladding system. Radially back sawn boards can be identified by the alignment of growth rings, which are basically parallel to the broad face of the board. External Shiplap cladding is supplied dressed and seasoned in a range of widths.

The shiplap cladding is profiled from durable silvertop ash hardwood boards that overlap to produce a continuous vertical or horizontal cladding system. V Joint Shiplap is available in both 70x19mm and 90x19mm sizes.

Tongue And Groove Shiplap

Tongue And Groove Shiplap is supplied as a series of dressed 19mm thick boards with square shaped tongue and rebate joints. Radial cladding boards overlap and have an effective cover approx. 38mm, 70mm, 90mm and 110mm. The 38mm, 70mm and 90mm are designed so it can be secret fixed, the 110mm cover must be face fixed.
